Ion Fortuna, Count of Memphis, is a younger Methuselah (old & noble descent vampires), grandson of Mirka Fortuna, who initially holds strongs prejudices againts humans.
He went to the human world (the Terran's World, he said) in order to met Cardinal Sforza (ordered by the Empress) but, at the night of the meeting, he got hurt (Yeah! Tres made a horrible mistake u.u Well, he got confused because of the enemy attack ^^UU) and ran away. Then, Abel and Esther help him and Radu (Ion's childhood friend) to scape from the Department of Inquisition. Sadly, he was emotionally hurt when his most trusted friend, Radu, betraied him and then tried to kill him and Esther.
After his acquaintance and growing familiarity with Esther, however, his attitude changes considerably. He harbors growing romantic feelings towards Esther (T_T), although these appears some what one sided.
Also, through his experiences with the treachery of the Rozen Creuz Order he has a growing desire for vengeance, and eventually joins Abel in his quest to destroy them.
OMG!! *-* You just can't ask these *o* Why?? Because it's so obvious *-* Ion is the most cute, innocent, cool, kind, handsome, with those beautiful red eyes *3* and that warm smile *o* and when he blush he just looks so... ***drools*** Oh! God! Well, enough for you? Wanna know more?? xDDDD
Well, as you know, Ion was so naive and so innocent that he got terribly hurt by Radu's treason. So, "Betraied Innocence" was exactly the words that came to my mind when I saw Ion's pain and loneliness. He had such an innocent soul that, in that moment, he coudn't understand why he'd been betrayed...
